Went in for a planned procedure to remove certain masses in my airway and repair a naturally occurring defect. The surgeon and medical team were great and made a big effort to discuss everything with me and keep me at ease and comfortable throughout the whole procedure. The only issues I really ran into were occasional communication concerns, often from the ward stuff not talking about things or discussing them with me while I was there. The only thing that really was a big problem was the roommate I had, who was elderly and would become quite distraught whenever the nursing staff needed to do anything throughout the night. They finally moved me into a different room very late at night to help me get some rest, but I'd think this was something that should have been considered before putting me in that room considering the other patient had been there for at least a day before.Otherwise, the staff were very pleasant and helpful whenever possible and were able to communicate clearly in English, which was a big concern before going in. I'd definitely go back if need be.
因入院要做腸鏡檢查, 病人感到腸內物體仍未排出, 醫生因為BOOK了手術室及說不能延期, 因而要求病人立刻做檢查, 病人及其家人強烈要求後, 最後可遲半天才做檢查. 病人家人感到醫生好像趕收工的感覺.
