医护人员（医生、护士及其他）每天(以24小时计算)平均花多少时间照顾你 / 病人的病情?
Overall it was good, admission was very quick and smooth. I do find that however, there is not enough support for baby caring techniques and breastfeeding techniques which i think are equally important. It would have been nice that emphasis on providing good experience can extend beyond the time at the hospital to furnishing a patient with more knowledge to care for oneself upon returning home. Not just booklets or CDs but demos too. Understand that time may be a constraint.
I was admitted for scheduled partial parotidectomy surgery earlier this month for removal of a benign tumor in my parotid gland. I stayed a total of 9 days. My attending physician and all staff I encountered from nurses to cleaning staff were professional and attentive. The surgeon visited me the evening before the surgery to briefly explain the procedure and answer questions (what time I would be rolled down to the operating floor, how long the surgery would take, how I'd likely feel post surgery, risks, etc). The anathesiologist visited the morning of and went over his roll.Post surgery, my physician visited me 2x daily, once early in the morning and once early evening. Nurses checked my blood pressure and temperature several times during the day and evening. Nurses visits initially were more frequent...I would say someone checked in on me every 2 hours. I was fortunate to have received private care, but I wondered how care at hospitals (whether private or public) are often administered.
Very professional and supportive where needed
The nurses were terrible. I was in for an elective double mastectomy. They showed me NO care, empathy or kindness. They barely spoke to me. I was utterly miserable!
They couldn't give us a private room, but we had a partition around us on the ward and actually felt like we were in a private room, they provided me with an arm chair and bed to stay with my son the whole time, he had a TV, and everything he needed at hand
