I was concerned to see the nurse did not wear gloves to remove IV needle.
The care was very good from our principal doctor (Dr. XXX). However he called in a heart doctor for a consult, and we found that the heart doctor was coming every day, twice a day, each time for 2-3 minutes only, just to collect his consultation fee. I believe that since he knew insurance was covering the stay, he took advantage and made unnecessary visits.
I broke a couple of bones in my leg in a fall and was treated by Dr. XXX at the Adventist hospital. I had 3 operations in total for the injury, all done in Adventist. Dr xxx is very knowledgeable and thorough, explained treatments in detail and listened well to my wishes on treatments. Overall, I had a great experience with the hospital. Only complain is that hospital only serves vegetarian food, and as a non-vegetarian this can be a bit challenging at times.
I wish more was explained by the doctor as to my husband's condition, what the plan was, what information they were waiting for, what it might reveal, etc.
Terrible, the staff would not help in any way at all, I had to stay with my husband the whole time as they refused to do anything to help him get food, drink, go to toilet, etc..
