當主診醫生無法照顧我 / 病人時，我 / 病人知道誰被指定代為負責我/ 病人的護理需要。
I trust the Drs at Queen Marys impeccably and would always choose to go there with my children, they are always very fast to admit and diagnose.
Most of the experience was acceptable, but delay through emergency admission and fixed rounds did result in more exposure to the distressing symptoms of my condition, as well as a loss of medical material.
Icu care is good. But the care in the wards was questionable. No one understood my mother who does not speak Cantonese. However after fighting my way with them I was allowed to stay with my mum who underwent open heart surgery for valve replacement.
One day they gave her oatmeal for the 3 meals as they were short of 'western' meal. If I had not been there to provide care my mum would have had complications from the unhygienic bedsheets procedures etc
My experience was horrific. They didn't listen to me when I kept telling them I was in pain. Ended up with a terrible infection which took 4 months to get rid of when I had a newborn.
Adventist couldn't cope with symptoms so moved to queen Mary's! Ambulance came but wouldn't take us! Only to closest hospital (complete waste of an hour) drove ourselves to QM (the Adventist should know this)
