I initially approached the surgery with some degree of trepidation, as I'd never stayed in hospital before. Nevertheless, almost everything from admission to discharge exceeded my expectations, and the service was impeccable and remarkably prompt, even in the general ward where I was staying. It was, in the end, a most positive experience.

The doctor and staff were good and helpful. Doctor's could have been more "open" to engagement. They engaged, but my sense is that they did this because we wanted the engagement. Not part of their natural process.

- Prof XXX the ENT Specialist treating mum with care and understanding
-He explained the procedure well And was there to answer any questions.
-the anaesetist was clear about the medicine and procedure he was doing.
-the nurses in the day care room seemed more knowledgeable, professional and understanding than in the private room.
-nurses in the private rooms took longer to attend to my mum when need help as felt that a family member was there so less urgency to come when requested.
-even when sled the nurses to/speak in English they defaulted back to speaking in CHINESE during time of crisis, not being able to speak the language made it hard for me as the caregiver.

癌症1) 護士很多時侯要病人等候並盡量避免協助病人清理大小二便。
2) 每天樣板式問候並不是病人和家屬真正所需
